10% “Netflix” Tax, a step closer for NZ?

So Australia has confirmed a 10% tax for what is really called ‘Intangible’ digitally imported goods – downloaded books, music, videos, software, and we assume PC gaming. This of course, is the application of GST in Australia and brings all purchasing into line with retail. As a discussion point in NZ also, you would have to say that this moves the timeline for introduction here in NZ a large step closer.
